LONDON a fairytale screen print inspired by nate williams

We were each given a short story from the Kurt Schwitters fairytales for the Merz box project at university. The sentence that stated ' suddenly there drove A huge car carrying one whole big house wall, with all windows, an entrance door'. This to me was something i could really work with, wanting to try something out of my comfort zone a more quirky way of working. I chose to do a screen print that ive never done before and actually really like the outcome!

Welcome to my Masquerade Ball.....

Story line for final-: The doors open and everyone gathers round to welcome the unknown guest, champagne gasses are held in the air ... Stunned and in silence, the guests and I stop and stare in amazement. Who can this be? The Lady in red appears.. Who is she? For everyone knows the dress code was a black attire.... Who does she think she is??

Incomplete rough for final.. needs a lot of work doing such as added detail and characters...

Summer Project

We were asked over the summer to create 7 characters inspired by 7 different artists... heres a few that i actually like the other's need to be changed and completed...

Year Two Uni Work

Here i have posted a few images from my 2nd year of Uni at Lincoln. I love working in watercolour using ink and a dip pen as the effect isn't to perfect, i can easily splash bright colours with drops of ink and the effect is always different and unique each time. Hope you like :)

Cup cake-Love using watercolour and ink give an not so precious effect..can be quite messy but still has a good effect :)

Art work that i have done just out of pure boredom.. you know the ones?? You're at home with nothing to yet you're feeling creative.. so instead you just sit and draw!!

Jacques Glass- Well if it wasn't for my sister putting a water lilly in this glass i would't have painted it! I came home one night to find this beautifull water lilly opened up in the glass and thought it was too pretty to ignore so i sat down and painted it!!
